Masters & Dynamics MW75 New Headphones
wow haven't been on here in 11 years.....anyways I read a bit of mixed reviews but I figure I got a clearance pair bnib for 50% off would be worth a shot. I had a pair of MD IEM that were not good from many years ago so not the best experience but dunno how people are getting along with these.- ismelllikepoop

PSB M4U 2
I've had mine for a few days. I guess other people have the same issue, but when I'm near my laptop with them powered on I get a rapid wic-wic-wic sound just out of the right cup. usually goes away if i move away from the laptop, or once music plays. Interesting thing is if i start playing...- ismelllikepoop

good phones for travel with isolation
what about the choice between sennheiser hd25-1-ii and the psb m4u2? mainly want to use them for studying but also for travel on long flights. the sennheisers seem pretty good in local shops but have no idea what it would be like blocking out the drone on a 12 hr flight, which is why im...- ismelllikepoop

good phones for travel with isolation
Tried the rec thread to no avail. Been trying to find some headphones for travel, decent/good isolation, and not super-bulky (no iem's they irritate my ears with extended use). Looking to spend up to 2-300, but can stretch that to $500 if it's really compelling. I know senn hd25-1 II's seem to...- ismelllikepoop

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
Pain in the butt searching this thread. Anyways was looking for closed headphones that aren't huge for travel with decent isolation. Not looking for noise cancelling or IEM's. My budget is up to $500, but anything more reasonably priced is preferred. Liked my denon ah-a100's and grado 225's...- ismelllikepoop

speaker cone cracked
Second time i removed the grills. I figure i would've noticed that the first time around. Anyways when I look up close it does look like it cracked. I wouldn't think that could happen unless someone hit it pretty hard so im leaning towards someone not letting me know they hit the speaker...- ismelllikepoop

speaker cone cracked
Not sure where this goes since this is a headphone forum, but i have a set of bookshelf speakers i've had for about 8 months, revel m12's. Never moved them around, no kids around poking them. Randomly when i decided to clean the apt and took off the grills to clean them, I noticed a small 1cm...- ismelllikepoop

The Grado HF2--It's For Real
i have no idea how they sound, but i try to keep in mind it's basically the same 2-3 people that keep praising it. hopefully we get more reviews in before the ordering period stops, but i dunno this place is a pretty good hype machine. seems that headphones that were the hot new thing when i...- ismelllikepoop

audio technica's fragile?
kind of want to get some portable closed headphones for studying at the library, and the etymotics i've had for years are kind of irritating when plugged in for hours on end. so far the audio technica es7 and esw9 have caught my eye but from reading a decent number of posts it seems they are...- ismelllikepoop

SR-80 dead left channel: fix / recable?
i had the same problem with my sr60's which i use with my computer. wasnt sure what the problem was and figured it was a cable issue. i *think* it was $25 to send to grado to get them fixed, which was better than buying another set, but also a bit pricey considering the msrp. i didnt want to...- ismelllikepoop
