If you are not comfortable doing it yourself, I would suggest sending it back. Recables are easy for the most part. It will void your warranty so If you dont feel you can do it then send 'em back.

im pretty sure i could do it myself, but need to dig out my soldering iron. also $25 for another flimsy grado cable kind of worries me.
