This is what jude wrote, so, just guessing: something like jumping from SR225 to RS2, otherwise

I'll put it simply, and say that I can't see how anyone who loved the sound of the Grado HF1 won't love the sound of the Grado HF2. I've had the HF2 next to my HF1, and the best way I can describe the HF2 is a further refinement of the Grado Head-Fi Headphones concept.

I wouldn't say surprised per say...more like relief and vindication of not having photos or a physical description of what the phone looks like. Many "theories" have abounded throughout the thread.

What everyone has to keep in perspective is that you have thirty days to make up your minds. Also the RS-2's will depreciate in value and the HF-2 will appreciate and maintain value. It's a win-win!

My guess (hope) is that it's a 325 body with bagels, with driver and chamber tuned for bagels. Recently I have started to use the GS1000 (and K1000) more than the RS1 and MS2 so maybe it's more hope than guess, it's a soundstage thing I presume...
