The Astell & Kern AK240
I thought that may be the case. Do you think it is something that could be installed in a future firmware update? For a £2200 device, it really shouldn't be an issue.- confusedone

The Astell & Kern AK240
Hi, I am using DBPoweramp to rip my CDs and then transfer to my AK240. I am trying to rip them so that artists starting with 'The' (e.g. The Beatles, The Doors, The Replacements) appear under 'B', 'D' and 'R' rather than 'T'. DBPoweramp has a feature for sort tags so that you can do this but at...- confusedone

[Review] Tralucent Audio: Ref 1
Are you serious? Whilst I agree that Kanye is a good producer, the mastering on his CDs is awful. Like most modern hip hop, it is highly compressed and fatiguing to listen to for long periods of time. I can understand this is an artistic decision and I like a lot of his music but it is about as...- confusedone

Sorry, I perhaps didn't make myself clear. There are some people who have stated that having the EQ on Flat is preferable to no EQ. I just wanted to confirm what they meant my 'Flat', is it a flat line along the middle of the EQ settings (i.e. along 0.0)?- confusedone

For those who are saying they prefer the EQ on flat, are you saying that you have the EQ as a flat line on 0.0 (i.e. a flat line in the middle)? Sorry for the question but I just want to be sure that's what you mean.- confusedone

Tralucent Audio 1Plus2 IEM (Now With 'New' 1Plus2.2!) Impressions Thread
Hi, I have a question regarding my balanced Tralucent Uber cable in relation to the AK240. I have it terminated so that it can go straight into the balanced output of an RSA Intruder portable amp. However, I am now looking for an adaptor so that I can use the same cable directly into the 2.5mm...- confusedone

Ok, that's good to know. It would be cool to have an all-in-one DAP that can do the 1+2 justice. Do you use your Audeze's directly into the RWAK240 balanced output as well?- confusedone

Great write up, many thanks. I have some LCD-2s and Tralucent 1plus2s and have been using them with the AK120 into an RSA Intruder for the last few months. Do you think the RWAK240 should be able to drive them easily enough without need for an additional amp?- confusedone

Hi, I notice you have both a RWAK240 and a Chord Hugo. I know they have different uses but have you had a chance to compare them in terms of sound quality? Also, considering the RWAK240 seems to have had improvements made in the amp section compared to the stock model, does it benefit from...- confusedone
