Reply to review by 'bikertrash' on item 'Grado SR60i Headphones'

If they're uncomfortable you can bend the head band to your liking, they are all day phones in my book, once I got the band bent to my liking. The bass isn't for bass heads, but great if you want to hear the whole sound spectrum without anything overwhelmed by the bass. Too me, the bass is...

    Best MP3 Under 50 Dollars?

Sansa Clip Zip. They are great players that actually have a screen and you can make on the go playlists. If you find 4 gigs isn't enough room then you can put in a micro SD card. I don't know about the sound compared to the Shuffle with the OF, but I hear rockboxing it makes it really serious...

    Help me choose nonApple player

I run Rhapsody on my Clip Zip. I haven't had any problems with the original firmware. Just in case you don't want to play with RB, though I haven't heard of any complaints with rockbox, I don't think I could use Rhapsody with it. If Sansa comes out with a great replacement for the Fuze+ I may...

    Grado SR60i

I have Grado SR60i phones. While it's true the bass isn't strong, I actually like the bass as it doesn't drown out any midrange. I suppose if you're looking bass that thumps your eardrums you might be disapointed but the bass is defintely there on the 60s. I considered the 80s but after...

    No-nonsense MP3 player with on-the-go playlist?

I like my Clip Zip. Its on the go playlist is easy. It'll take an SD card up to 32 gigs. It's about as no nonsense as you can get. It doesn't do video, show pics or cook breakfast. It does show album art. Other than that it just plays music and sounds great doing it. If album art is nonsense...

    Help Me Help a Friend - Street-Style/Portable On-Ear ~$50

I find Koss KSC 75s are comfortable and sound great, but my Grados SR60i phones sound better. For out and about the KSC 75s are more than adequate and much less expensive. If your friend only wants one headphone, I'd say stick with iGrados. Also the Koss PortaPros which sound about the same as...

    Sansa Clip+ - Koss KSC75 VS. Meelectronics m6/m9

The ksc-75s are great for portable use. They're worth far more than what you pay for. I've used mine on my old Clip + and my present Clip zip.Haven't heard of the other mentioned phones, but I can vouch the ksc 75s sound great.

Portable music player as sole sound source

never heard of what your asking. How come you don't want to rip? Since you don't want to spend much, Sansa Clip Zip is cheap and can accept up to a 32 gig SD card, if you need more capacity there's a lot out there. The largest capacity is an Ipod Classic. It would be neat to choose a hard...

Sub-$50 IEMs to use with Clip+

Check out Amazon, I recently bought a pair of Audio Technicas that were originally listed for $100 but now sell for only $40. They might not be good at the original price, but I think they sound great, lots of bass and great treble and midrange. I like them better than my SR60i headphones for...

Is Sansa Clip + really that good?!

I have a Clip + and I find it sounds great. I'm using Audio Technica IEMs which listed originally for a hundred bucks bet were on sale for 40. The combination is great. It's seems a bit weak for my Portapros, but it still sounds great with my Grado SR60i phones. For the money it's great. It...

New Sansa Clip Zip is out!

I love my Clip + but it doesn't have the alphabetical section for the index, the Zip does. But since my present Clip + is working well, and I'm a cheapskate, I'll have to wait until it wears out then get the                   Sansa Clip Zip +, Which will come with a coffee maker and still clip on...

    best $10, or $20 headphones/earbuds/inear/whatever

I saw walmart has Koss KX pros which seem to have the same drivers as the KSC 75s if per chance you don't like earclips. Save up 10 more bucks and go to Best Buy for their edition of PortaPros. They have the cloth covered cables and their PortaPros, for 30 bucks you won't be able to top those...

anyone tried this one: creative zen X-Fi style

Yeah Nytwytboy, I've only had one brand. Just one that I bothered buying. Sony S that I tried for a day hissed, Ipod just seemed overpriced and tinny. Clips are nice, might get one. Anyway you like stuff like Cowons which have a lot of things to tweak. Any more I just want to listen to the tunes...

    Choosing a new MP3 $50~$200

I have a Zen myself. I have decided since I like my Zen, when it bites the dust I will be getting a Zen Xfi Style. The 32 gig version is at a great price on Amazon. I understand it's pretty much a tactile version of the Xfi2, which differint reviews have praised it sound but trashed the touch...
