Well 8 months after starting this thread my N1's are still going strong, lasting much longer than my IE8's did, so the build quality can't be that bad.   Ordered the TD100's yesterday from Thomas' site given the special price, hope you guys are right about their quality :)

Not sure if its been mentioned but my KM92's came today and sound no where near as good as my N1's. As for EQ'in the N1's I find they sound best on my s618f (sony) than any other player I have (inc S639F and fuse). And N1's are still doing it for me, I've had virtually all the top end IEMS...

I've also had this problem, I found that it would actually come back normal after a little while of using them, but then the otherside started doing it too. I've actually requested a refund, I have no faith in them anymore.
