If you have some spare foamies laying around , you might want to try try modding them to fit on the IE8 (I used some yellow Shure ) , then slip the large UE silicones over the top of these. I had the same problem as yourself in getting a really good seal with my IE8 ..... stumbled upon this...

Heed CanAmp has a reputation here on Head-Fi for good synergy with the K701. I gave this pairing a listen at the last U.K. meet and can fully understand why.........very nice indeed.

I agree with Dark Angel .... Great track! A very welcome return to their former glories with this release. Can imagine how good this one would sound live.

A lot of manufacturers will definitely mark stuff down for European buyers if you ask them nicely. If they are good enough to do this , its probably not a good idea to then name 'em publicly in the forums though.

Try another DAP. To my ears , the 5.5g Ipod that I own just doesn't cut it with the Triple-fi's..... even using the line-out and a decent portable amp. Change your DAP and you'll start to hear what the Triples are capable of sounding like. Adding an amp to the mix would then give you...

If nothing else , the fact that we're actually discussing 'the Snickers advert ban' (on a headphone forum) means the marketing campaign has worked very, very well.

The new Sony DAPs sound extremely good to my ears. Dynamic , punchy and very resolving. If you live anywhere near a stockist (perhaps a local Sony Center) then it is well worth a listen. For overall SQ alone the Sony makes my 5.5g iPod seem pretty 3rd rate.
