NAD C356BEE - fine volume control via remote
Hi all, Somewhat odd question I suppose. I have an NAD3566BEE receiver and find that the supplied remote control does not give me fine level of volume control I desire. The receiver is capable of fine volume control directly, just not via the remote. I welcome any advice! TIA- stymie miasma

SONY: ATRAC and English compatible DAP - where to buy?
Hi all, My little Sony NW-S706F is just a little too small capacity-wise, so I'm looking to upgrade. 8Gb plus would be nice. Being an aging curmudgeon, most of my music is purchased on CD and encoded to ATRAC in Sonicstage. What can I say, I like gapless, and in the majority of instances...- stymie miasma

Temporary Fix for iPod Audio Defect?
The folks over at iPod Lounge seem to think highly enough of the "scotch tape fix" that they have posted a news article to help spread the word. For those in the know, just how successful is this "fix"? I have read conflicting reports as to whether this actually addresses the problem or not.- stymie miasma

Audio defect on hPod?
I realise it is probably too early to gauge, but do you suspect that the HP-branded iPods will be plagued with audio defects much like the 4G Apple iPods? Is there any hope that these newer units have been subject to tighter quality control??- stymie miasma

Where to best introduce tubes into your system?
It's funny how threads appear dealing with the very topics you had been mulling over in recent days. In a similar fashion to the recent, and very interesting thread What are the most 'analog' sounding CD players? , I thought I might start a similar discussion. Specifically, if I wanted to...- stymie miasma

Anyone seen Sigur Ros live??
I had the pleasure Saturday evening just passed. The venue was fabulous, an old theatre on the outskirts of Philadelphia - The Tower Theatre from memory. Can anyone compare the PX-100 to the PX-200?
I am looking for comments/impressions/comparrisons of the sound quality of these two portable headphones. Sony MDR 7509
Following on from what Dark Angel raised in another thread, does anyone have any information regarding the 7509s. All I have found is one review that seems to suggest that they are not re-badged V900s (assuming that the V900s are as woeful as the V600s), but rather a "significant step up in...- stymie miasma
