Hello guys, I had my Hifiman RE0 recabled and it's currently competing against the Havi.   They had their own advantage. Both sounds awesome!

agreed with illusioned,   besides you can always get a spare battery for DX50/DX90, since it uses Sams*ng S3 battery which is quite easy to find.

  +1 to this.   I can't believe I have to take out my DX50 from my pocket or slip my finger through the tight pants/bag just to reduce the volume because it's too loud when playing EDM :( that moment when you have to do so much hassle because you have eric clapton's unplugged deluxe edition...

Hello everyone! Sorry for the double post     I would like to inform you that indeed my previous havi was faulty! my current havi with same setup on the same part of the song does not produce any kind of sibilance!  However it sounded less transparent and detailed than what I remember...

thanks man!   if there's imbalance problem I can always ask for warranty if I want to, but I don't think they'll accept warranty if I happen to get another sibilant sounding havi :( but I wouldn't be bothered with imbalanced unit

I agree that it feels slightly loose but it's just how it works.   if you rarely use line-out jack, try plugging it there to feel the grip and compare it to the most-used HO jack. even though it feels loose,  I never have any issue with it.   Also, there are 3.5mm male jack from cheap brand...

can't say RE400 is bright, since the upper mid/low treble region is very, very smooth and somewhat recessed while having low mid region sounding detailed and sweet.   the sub bass is rolled-off, though. The thick midrange makes the overall sound a little bit fun and warm... it's detailed but...

The reviews from my local forum about dunu titan 1 sounds interesting..   but sadly I don't think it's available in my country yet! I'm aiming for the ATH IM02 as of currently :) Probably the second handed one.. Fairly enjoying RE400 atm but give it some complex music, all the instrument died...

what? but how? I had a horrible LAN-cafe gaming session. I had to use headphone with nearly-ear blasting volume to be able to hear footstep/ingame detail and communication with my teammate to coordinate properly.   Is it possible to restore hearing capability lost?

Thanks man but it looks like the Havi is not for everyone. I've tried bunch of tips but it seems that the seal is actually just fine for me with the default tips. By the way, I find the isolation isn't that good even though the tip seal is quite decent, a little bit less isolating than my RE0...
