    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

Hello guys, I had my Hifiman RE0 recabled and it's currently competing against the Havi.   They had their own advantage. Both sounds awesome!

    The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.9.5 - June 30, 2016

agreed with illusioned,   besides you can always get a spare battery for DX50/DX90, since it uses Sams*ng S3 battery which is quite easy to find.

    The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.9.5 - June 30, 2016

+1 to this.   I can't believe I have to take out my DX50 from my pocket or slip my finger through the tight pants/bag just to reduce the volume because it's too loud when playing EDM :( that moment when you have to do so much hassle because you have eric clapton's unplugged deluxe edition...

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

Hello everyone! Sorry for the double post     I would like to inform you that indeed my previous havi was faulty! my current havi with same setup on the same part of the song does not produce any kind of sibilance!  However it sounded less transparent and detailed than what I remember...

thanks man!   if there's imbalance problem I can always ask for warranty if I want to, but I don't think they'll accept warranty if I happen to get another sibilant sounding havi :( but I wouldn't be bothered with imbalanced unit

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

Hello guys. I just want to post here to tell you that I think I've got a faulty product.     He said that Havi is smoother in vocal, where as VSD3S has sibilance.   So, I tried my friend's VSD3S on the other day in the office to play some of the Michael Jackson song that I find sibilance...

    The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.9.5 - June 30, 2016

I agree that it feels slightly loose but it's just how it works.   if you rarely use line-out jack, try plugging it there to feel the grip and compare it to the most-used HO jack. even though it feels loose,  I never have any issue with it.   Also, there are 3.5mm male jack from cheap brand...

[Poor Man Reviews] Audio Technica ATH-IM02

can't say RE400 is bright, since the upper mid/low treble region is very, very smooth and somewhat recessed while having low mid region sounding detailed and sweet.   the sub bass is rolled-off, though. The thick midrange makes the overall sound a little bit fun and warm... it's detailed but...

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

The reviews from my local forum about dunu titan 1 sounds interesting..   but sadly I don't think it's available in my country yet! I'm aiming for the ATH IM02 as of currently :) Probably the second handed one.. Fairly enjoying RE400 atm but give it some complex music, all the instrument died...

[Poor Man Reviews] Audio Technica ATH-IM02

Now onto the question, how does this compared to RE0 in terms of midrange, upper midrange, layering and it's ability to play complex song? RE400's delicate mid is so good for music like swings or jazz.. but when I throw J-pop/pop at it with many instrument playing at once, everything...

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

So guys, I've sold my havi b3 pro1 and got myself RE400..   I'm pretty disappointed by it. Havi B3 pro1 is by far more revealing, better midrange(though RE400 sounds sweeter), better sub bass though upper midrange/low treble is harsh for me.   I don't know man.. I feel sad right now as I...

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

what? but how? I had a horrible LAN-cafe gaming session. I had to use headphone with nearly-ear blasting volume to be able to hear footstep/ingame detail and communication with my teammate to coordinate properly.   Is it possible to restore hearing capability lost?

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

I even think its the opposite :( my hearing is really bad, I'm 22 this year buy i have already unable to hear up to 20khz in noise sweep.. Must be because of extensive gaming session when I'm younger. Any though about the b3 pro 2? If the soundstage, imagine and detail is much worse, I'd look at...

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

Looks like I'm not the only one. here's another review from amazon saying that it has horrible sibilance, without proper DAC/AMP   Probably because my DAP doesn't have enough power. I can't believe my iBasso DX50 doesn't have enough juice to drive this thing.. wow.

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

Thanks man but it looks like the Havi is not for everyone. I've tried bunch of tips but it seems that the seal is actually just fine for me with the default tips. By the way, I find the isolation isn't that good even though the tip seal is quite decent, a little bit less isolating than my RE0...

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

Quote: thanks for the tips, I agree with you that most common case of bad seal is the missing bass and tinny treble..   but I don't find the treble nor bass lacking. It is really perfect in both sector.   Only in certain recording that the sibilance is intolerable. On the other...

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

Lol, name me one IEM that sounds like Havi with decent treble under $300............. I'm not looking for trouble here, it's just that I have not met anyone who agreed with me that havi is sibilance.   Like I said I don't think I'm prone to sibilance, since my previous headphone were...

I've heard that there are different batch of Havi B3 Pro1 ?   one comes with small box and another one with bigger box. I've also heard that they do sound different.   is this true?

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

nooo!!! the midrange is very detailed, slightly warmth hint giving it the delicate smooth sound. excelent soundstage, great imaging, onpar or even better than Shure's own SE215 spe. Timbre sounds natural, extended very well and detailed. Bass is excelent, tight and detailed. Not bleeding into...

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

    1. That might have just killed my hope on keeping this IEM :(   2. That is true because the sibilance is tolerable in some other song. However the funny thing is that when I tried it at the store, I wasn't aware of this sibilance problem(for me) at all. That shouldn't be the case because I'm...

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

This unnecessary treble harshness is killing me, like.. really... horrible. The weird thing is that I went to the local store on the other day, and the pro one sounds extremely good in my memories. It sound less airy than hifiman RE400, more closer to the warmer sound than the RE400 and the...

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

Guys, I'm suffering from horrible female vocal sibilant from my Havi B3 pro1. I bought this thing used. The clarity is insane, soundstage is expansive, everything is perfect... almost.   for some recording, the treble can be sooooooo harsh, peaky, and the vocal can be sibilant. for example...
