Thanks. It’s funny, I hadn’t even noticed it until I took that pic and thought it looked pretty cool too. I literally got them yesterday and put them on my head to listen without checking out all of the beauty in the wood yet.

I’m just enthralled with the sound.

Thanks. I love all the steel, brass and bronze ziricotes that I’ve seen posted but wanted to go with something that was subtle and made the wood stand out. The all black looks nice with it if I do say so myself.

My Pheasantwood Verite arrived today. Was posted on Friday and arrived on Monday, from USA to Australia. That's incredible speed. Equally incredible was the look and feel of the headphone. Opening the very secure Seahorse case, the Verite looks amazing in the flesh. The smooth varnish wooden cups, very soft and supple ear pads and luxurious headband. It's a joy holding the headphone in my hands.

Sorry the photo doesn't do it justice but it's the best I can manage with my iphone x.

I’m only posting this because I read a bunch about amp pairings on this thread; the TT2 + Verites are a great pairing. Maybe that is an obvious statement.

The power, dynamics, and bass are fantastic . I haven’t heard them on a tube amp yet so I can’t provide a comparison but they are great on my TT2 solid set up.

just received my ziricote verite, ive currently spent more time looking at them. gonna let them burn in before I start pad rolling between the three i have, universe suede perf., universe lambskin, and verite pads.

I’m on the Verite lambskin perforated flat pads now. Love it for the increased in clarity, details, dynamics and soundstage but the Universal thicker pads are more cushy and comfortable.
