I prefer my 2K Copper cable on my Auteur over the OFC cable. Strangely enough, on my Meze Elite, I prefer the OFC cable over the 2K Copper. Synergy plays a part in this kind of thing as well as personal preferences.

For all our cables we try to lean towards the thinnest possible wire with the most strands as it's what I personally feel like sounds best (lower resistance) The 2k is just kind of the opitomy of that with the 513 strands per wire and over 2000 in the cable.

Thanks Zach. Your stock cable is really good and I wonder if 2k upgrade is that noticeable. Hard to try it in the EU.

Silver has lower resistence than copper. But it sounds the same as the stock cable to me.
Don't buy a new cable if you expect improved sound. I was disappointed when I bought a silver cable for my LCD-2 headphones.

I do expect some kind of improvement in buying upgrade cable it does not make sense otherwise.

One thing i know for sure: i want full copper cable, no silver.

didn't act quick enough to get a VC from the hot cup summer b-stock. but saw a listing on local exchange discussion forum for a pair of reasonably priced and sparingly used VO. looks so gorgeous but the height adjustment took me sometime to figure out even after watching ZMF's youtube tutorial.

i think i should really refrain from buying anymore headphones for a very long time

Oh yes. That's way more than reasonable # of cans and iems so really got to control and no more impulse buying. The big boxes occupied too many spaces too. I'm now only eyeing on final's coming ze8000 tws

Indeed! The beautiful hand finished woodwork is the main reason I wanna get a pair of zmf not that the sound is not great, just the beauty is exemplary.

Wow, this is awesome It would be my dream setup Trying to complete my gear in the same direction with custom OTL and tube DAC.
