You could also argue that you wouldn’t want the 9 days of burn in to count against the 14-day return period. But I am guessing not many people return theirs given that it’s easy to sell them at a good price.Yeah, I'd be extremely annoyed if my headphones were ready and then stayed there for at least another 9 days or more to get to 200 hours. I think some also find it interesting to detect the changes as it burns in.

It's annoying to burn them in (I did it for 10 days on VC), but it's kinda nice to check in on them every once in awhile and see how they're doing.
I think next time I might just roll with it and actually listen more as it happens, now that I know what they can do and what they really sound like.
I sold my Leopardwood VC to explore other closed backs, but it's getting boring and I just want something great that's not Focal or planar so I think I'm just going to get another VC. Fingers crossed on the upcoming Stabilized drop. I know y'all are all about the olives but meh. I'd rather try for stabilized.

So I’m curious how long it generally takes for each of the 3 steps in the emails for everyone who has gone through the order process in the past. Just purely curious and not trying to estimate my own orders. I like the emails with the description of the step.
It takes basically forever for each step. (Really it doesn't, but it sure feels like it.)
Just let it happen naturally. They want to get them out as much as you want to get it in.

It’s actual copper as far as I know. Just like the brass is brass and the steel is stainless steel? There have been pictures of it in the past on the website. Might scroll through the previous stabilized runs to find one. I think this is copper. On the ZMF VC Olive Ltd ordering page, it lists a 4th rod color: copper. Does anyone have a pic of the copper rod? And is it actual copper, or is it some kind of paint or finish? I'm wondering if it will patina over time.
As for patina and if there is a clear coat, Zach would have to chime in. That’s why I’ve always stayed towards black and stainless personally.

Camphor BurlZachi, what wood type did you end up getting?
I will repeat what others have said before: my photos do NOT do them justice. They look much better in person! Even the colors are a little off... But you get the general idea

Yeah we actually only use raw polished untreated metals that are CNC cut. So you get the natural patina, or lack there-of (stainless steel) for all our metal rods. The only one that is treated is the anodized black rods.

Yes the footprint is perfect. But this amp is very heavy, I had to help the lady at the post office because she couldn't lift the box herself
