Just to add, the Kingwood were limited in numbers, and appears to be sold out, which is why you don't see them available on ZMF's website. Depending on when @Chronos ordered his(?) they may not have been available.

They weren't listed as an option when I ordered mine about a week ago. The Kingwood and silver grille is stunning.

There were 60 units available at launch, and this Ltd edition was limited to a predetermined time until sometime early Dec.
Zach comes up once or twice a year with new Ltd options. I'm sure the next one will be very different, but equally unique...

Late night listening on the caldera. After a shoulder surgery, for practical reasons I had to choose one headphone in advance, and the Caldera was my choice; and I put the Auris Nirvana as a pre to the CFA-3, which lets me control the volume easily with the Auris remote. This setup gets a wonderful and tactile bass, combinig a hint of tube voicing with the super clear SS being most prominent. Definition on this track is wonderful. Fun burning the midnight oil with this wonderful creation. Revisiting favorite oldies with it is a bliss of rediscoveries..

The Verite Silver just got here. I know there is some talk about burning in cables, but sounds great out of the box. Bought it more for length and looks. Looks wonderful with the Coffee Gold. Brief comparison of sound, very subtle but hearing more detail and clarity. Seems a little crisper but without being brittle. This is with suede pads using 4.4mm balanced. Last on my list is to get stock Caldera pads.

By the way, my 8 mo kitty is already at 15 lbs. Not supposed to hit full size until 3-4 yrs but growth slows down after a year.
