I don't remember it being an option when I ordered my cocobollos... But a quick chat with Bevin and it was added to my order!

ZMF is quite accommodating to stuff like that.

Can auteur silk be ordered with magnesium chassis? Website doesn't seem to allow for it, but I assumed these were LTD edition too?

Yeah we can add it - easiest way is to just order the headphone and then we will send you a paypal invoice after the upgrade - or you can email us at contactzmf@gmail.com with the specs you want and we will send you a custom paypal invoice.

Sorry for that - we are on a short options freeze while we update our MRP system but I will have the Mg option available for all headphones soon. Silk + Mg is extremely light weight!

I'm glad I got Mg on Veritè and Aeolus but not enough to ship Atticus and Auteur back across the pond for conversion ...

Is that weird? Blackwood Auteur is heavy af, when I pick it up I wish it were lighter but once its on my head it never really bothers me.

Hey @zach915m as I was pad swapping on my Autuer, I noticed there is a new "grill" in front of the driver, a sort of fabric covered metal...thing.

I did not see this on my previous two sets of Auteur. Is this acoustically transparent protection for the driver? Or, more likely, ZMF proprietary crystal lattice filter for frequency response enhancement and resonance control?
