Metal blew me away on the AC. They outperform my LCD2 which I thought were the kings of metal

They add so much body to each note that it makes you FEEL music. As a lifelong musician, this is probably the best compliment I can make to these heaphones. They truly are special for me.

Same feels/situation here. It’s going to be a most enjoyable (U.S.) Thanksgiving!

EDIT: I just need to explain to my better half that another pair of headphones is inbound before the holidays. 😅

EDIT 2: Told her at a well-calculated moment and she took it amazingly well. She laughed and said she couldn’t keep up with my headphone habit. I should’ve shown her @OnlySoMany ’s “headphone wall”… 😂

And added bonus: Now that we are empty nesters, she admitted she could use a hobby and is thinking of taking up the acoustic guitar! Potential for LIVE MUSIC AT HOME?! Massive bonus result!

I really like Northern Lite and first time I’ve listened to Unisex on the AC and it’s a great match… bass and strong guitar riffs, love it!

While this photo doesn’t do them justice (proper photos tomorrow), I can’t help myself- soooo excited to welcome the Olivewood Atrium Closed to my “ZMF Triumvirate”!

A quick listen confirmed that they sound amazing, and as @unfitstew sold them to me with less than 50 hours on them, I’m gently running them in over the long weekend. 😁

Beauty shots to come. Much excitement!

It’s not always that we are fortunate enough to be over-the-moon pleased with major purchases, especially without trial as in this case. But boy oh boy- I am thrilled.

And here we are! Potato (iPhone 14 Pro) pictures, but not too shabby, right?

Listening to the ACs today via the Apache has been SO fun. They are amazing even though they aren’t broken in yet.

Great pics!

I grabbed a new Salire Stand after I ordered the Redwood Burl AC. Will send picture of mine on it too!

Will try to let you know the sound difference with the softer wood but I of course wouldn't be able to A/B it.
