Just sharing an amazing mod I found:

Put a tuning foam inside the tips. (normally, you would put it inside the nozzle, although I am a bit unsure of removing it on an iem at this price.)

Great to see discussion around the ZEN still going strong, even without any dedicated discussion thread around it and its replacement, the ZEN PRO. We're going to try to rectify this situation.

Because our product lines span so many years and have split into so many different threads across Head-Fi, we've received many requests from members for a consolidated discussion thread for all DUNU products, and we've taken the liberty to create one here:
https://www.head-fi.org/threads/dunu-discussion-impressions-master-thread.961127/

You're welcome to continue posting in this thread, of course, but if anyone wishes to have a centralized point of discussion and one where our team members can quickly respond to any questions, feel free to migrate over to this new thread. We'll be making a small number of announcements in the coming days, and will likely be using this new thread as the main point of discussion for all things DUNU. Thanks!

Congrats on the release guys!

I hope to get a chance to listen to these or even review them just like the Luna.
I tried the Zen Pro at the NYC CanJam today. It was a treat.

I a/b'd them with the Zen Pro during break time. The Zen Pro for me has that natural tone throughout the entire range while being very resolving at the treble end; and the vocals on these just remind me of my Elex and its bass is also punchy like the Dusk but faster and more well-controlled. I would strongly suggest you give them a shot, as when I compared them to the 2019 Dunu Luna ($1699) I still preferred the midrange (if not more frequencies) on these. The rep told me a lot of research done for the Luna was trickled down and refined into the Zen Pro, and the driver is physically larger than the Luna by quite a bit as well.

Recently, a matter was brought to our attention regarding the possibility of a tour unit of the ZEN PRO being passed off as a personal unit and put up for sale on classifieds by a member of the audio community.

Our first reaction was one of confusion; we have only put the ZEN PRO out on tour twice, once in a private tour within the US, and another in a public tour within Europe. While we did not discount the possibility of private loaners, we were not aware of any outstanding tours of the ZEN PRO.

Nevertheless, at the request of numerous other members of the audio community, we have conducted an independent investigation into this matter and confirmed that the individual did indeed purchase a ZEN PRO from one of our authorized retailers.

We will not make any further comment on this matter and consider the investigation to be closed.

LOL, we need a little of that right now (or not). I hope won't turn to conflict - now that need to be avoided! :)

Well, normally this stuff ends in a simple misunderstanding of sorts. I mean there are ethics, and the lack there of. Still it's only headphones!

Yep, it's rare but when it comes around and is handled excellently as @DUNU-Topsound did, there's nothing to worry about!

Do any of you guys have a favorable pairing of the Zen pro and a good dongle?
I'm on Android and currently using the E1DA 9038SG3 and it's great but my Fiio FD5 does hiss a bit from it. Since the Zen pro is approximately 6dB more sensitive I'm looking for quieter dongles.
Budget below $250.
