The Falcon Pro will be available soon too?
Yes. Pre-orders will be available next week, when they're making their way to authorized retailers as well.

I had my Zen on classifieds and thought in the last couple of days to try them again just in case... they are taken off classifieds!

Because we've received a few suggestions for doing so, what are peoples' opinions of our setting up a dedicated ECLIPSƎ model specific discussion thread? We realize each model in the ECLIPSƎ lineup has its own dedicated discussion thread, but they seem to be fragmented. Because the threads specific to the ZEN PRO and FALCON PRO are still in their infancy, we could possibly petition the moderators to help us merge fragmented content on LUNA, ZEN, ZEN PRO, and FALCON PRO into a single, ECLIPSƎ-themed discussion thread so that there's more continuity.

I can't seem to find a specific SA6 thread on Head-Fi, can that be true??

At the risk of being thrown out here I'd like to ask what the effect of the high impedance of the SA6 is when using a smartphone as a driver.

Tnx...

Here you go https://www.head-fi.org/threads/dunu-topsound-studio.932667/

SA6 definitely likes quite high voltage sources as you'd expect - around 4V+ seems to be the point where it really wakes up. I have to confess I've never plugged it into my phone, though I think they are normally throttled to about 1V, so I'd expect it to sound a little flat without a bit more power.

So it's strange. When I plug into a phone (I've tried the LG V30 and V60), I have to keep the volume REALLY low because the volume is way too loud. Something like levels 1-3. In comparison, when I plug them into my ZX507, they behave much more normally in terms of volume output, but I have to use them with the 4.4mm jack on high gain to wake them up. If I plug them into my ZX507's 3.5mm jack, they sound pretty flat.

But the LGs use the QuadDAC I assume because they're auto-triggered above 50 Ohms I think, and as such would send much more power. Bit worried about your ZX statement though for my Samsung Galaxy (my LG G6 being stolen a month ago - bad timing).

Do you know how your Galaxy would compare to a Pixel 4a or 5a? I could borrow those to test them out if you'd like me to.

Can't even find the specs of my own phone! Samsung lists that it has a jack, that's it. But I guess you've noted there's no phone companies left that care about audio after LG stopped, apart from Sony. Oh well... Thanks for offering nevertheless!
