Your first eargasm...

Hard to remember. I think it was the Adagio from Concierto de Aranjuez played by Paco de Lucía through a K701.

edit: or was it Kyrie from Mozart's Requiem?

It's impossible to remember my first, perhaps my first concert? It was Rush, so there's a pretty good chance that was it. But that happened long before my venture into audiophilia.

I do know my most recent. Listening to Primus' new album, and the track "Lee Van Cleef" on my KRK KNS 6400. The bass in the intro (and really the whole song) feels like someone's slapping me in the face with silly putty, so slinky and sticky and thick and _CLEAR_! It's incredible.

I had an Anthem Integrated and Sonic Frontiers CD-1 powering some NHT Superzeroes and listened to MTV's Unplugged Nirvana, Man Who Sold The World.  When Kurt did the solo my ears went crazy.  I blame the room interactions, cause the headphones don't quick tingle my lobes like that night... I'm gonna go listen to that right now.

First? Probably the album Perdition City on my used-to-death/traded-for-Porta Pro K240M and PA2V2. Last one was listening to Jaga Jazzist on my DT990s. Probably not a first choice for experimental jazz, but I can't hate that powerful, immersive sound.

Am currently having multiple eargasms with the D5000 and Noisia's "Split The Atom" album.

I listened to "Ava Maria" by E Nomine back when I first got my HD555's...blown away I was. Still use that song to test headphones/loudspeakers.
