Yeah, it's ocurred to me that I've been buying a LOT of KMFDM lately, but I've also been on a massive KMFDM kick for the past few weeks, also

.
It's kinda funny, actually... I was watching the WWIII DVD the other day and someone asked Sascha what kept KMFDM going, since they're basically this massive underground movement. He answered that it was the fans and nothing else, and how he'll hear from people who're introduced to KMFDM when they're given a CD as a present, or borrow it from a friend or brother or whatever, and seven weeks later have their hands on almost everything KMFDM has ever done. At any rate, I've been picking up their stuff as it shows up in some of the local used stores, since that's about the only way to get most of it now.

I haven't got five new acquisitions to add here today... just KMFDM's [84-86] double CD

Well, you will be busy then. I was just over at their site and 20 albums since 84! That is almost an album a year for two decades - very impressive.

I own about 10 or so myself. It is good stuff, especially when I am so sick of Depeche Mode, I could kill them.

Angst is my favorite album with Drug Against War and Light my two favorite tracks.

Keep rockin' man.

Glad to see a fellow... whatever you call a KMFDM fan here on HeadFi!
"Busy" doesn't even come close to describing it. I'm supposed to burn through money buying equipment and stuff, not music! And this is to say nothing of the myriad of remix discs, singles and EPs they've put out in the last 21 years.

And speaking of... I just found [Money + Barlged] this afternoon and, of course, bought it

I got a copy of these Virgil Fox Legacy series CD's from my band director. They're pretty good, but if I had to make an honest recommendation I'd say only get the third volume. The first two are very poorly recorded (what can you expect? The recordings are 50 years old), but the third is tolerable and the music itself is wonderful. I got these other two CD's I heartily recommend, though, which are "Encores" and "Virgil Fox Organ Selections". They're good quality, much newer.

Other than that, I gotta recommend my new Dream Theater CD's:

Liquid Tension Experiment (both I and II)
Falling Into Infinity

Jewel - Pieces of You

Brave - Searching for the Sun
