Recently borrowed from the library:

Left of the Dial: Dispatches from the '80s Underground
Lou Reed: Transformer
The Smiths: Meat is Murder
The Replacements: Tim
Billy Bragg: Talking with the Taxman about Poetry
The Cure: Pornography
Elvis Costello: My Aim is True

Going and learning about a bunch of music that I probably should have already known about.

Peace

The trifecta of The Bends, OK Computer, and Kid A is the best run of music I've ever heard back-to-back-to-back.

Well, it is my second copy, so I must like it! I must admit, it doen't sound as good as the first time around. Maybe OK and Kid spoiled me.

Lets see here...

Sigur Ros - Tak
The Dandy Warhols - Odditorium or Warlords of Mars
Coldplay - X & Y
Air - Moon Safari

Great album, no doubt, but seriously, best album ever made? I kind of doubt that anyone with the listening experience to make that argument would make that argument. Not even the best album of 1995 for many of us, but music and objectivity don't really mix
