Luke Vibert - Kerrier District
Angelo Badalamenti - Mulholland Drive Soundtrack
Throbbing Gristle - Live, Volume 4
Alarm Will Sound - Acoustica
Frog Pocket - Gongalot
Richard Devine - Cautella
Velvet Underground - White Light, White Heat
Venetian Snares - Meathole
Four Tet - Rounds
Can - Tago Mago
Keith Fullerton Whitman - Multiples
The Doors - Morrison Hotel
Johnny Cash - Best of The Man in Black
Slick Rick - Great Adventures of Slick Rick
Da Lench Mob - Guerillas in tha Mist

Out of all that, my favorite is the Frog Pocket album. One of the best cd's I've heard all year. Same goes for Acoustica, some of Aphex Twin's songs sound really cool arranged acoustically. I would like to know how they did some of them.

I've bought a lot of music lately. Recently I've come into some money (it's amazing how much more money you have when you actually have a job), but I'll have to tone down my spending from now on.

Yeah, it's ocurred to me that I've been buying a LOT of KMFDM lately, but I've also been on a massive KMFDM kick for the past few weeks, also

.
It's kinda funny, actually... I was watching the WWIII DVD the other day and someone asked Sascha what kept KMFDM going, since they're basically this massive underground movement. He answered that it was the fans and nothing else, and how he'll hear from people who're introduced to KMFDM when they're given a CD as a present, or borrow it from a friend or brother or whatever, and seven weeks later have their hands on almost everything KMFDM has ever done. At any rate, I've been picking up their stuff as it shows up in some of the local used stores, since that's about the only way to get most of it now.

I haven't got five new acquisitions to add here today... just KMFDM's [84-86] double CD

I own a few KMFDM CDs. Nihil was my first CD purchase. How did I get introduced to them? As a kid, I saw the Mortal Kombat movie, and when it came out on video I paused the tape so I could write down the soundtrack artists. KMFDM was the first one I found in a record store, and I've been listening to elecronic music ever since.

Well, heck. I haven't posted in this thread in an age, but somehow headfi is still sending me updates. It's like it knows that I just keep on buying an buying CDs.

Hungry, how is that buckethead? I have Colma and I think it's great!

Lemme see here: I probably can't name the recent most five in order, but I'll name a few...

Johnny Cash: American IV
R.E.M.: Automatic for the People. Misprinted to look like Depeche Mode's Songs of Faith and Devotion Live
Clash: Combat Rock. I couldn't decide if I should get the original 1992 CD or the 2000 remaster. Went '92 in the end.
The Cure: Show
The Cure: Disintegration
Fiona Apple: Tidal
The Flaming Lips: Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots 5.1
The Kills: No Wow
R.E.M.: Monster
Stereolab: Mars Audiac Quintet

Thats a few of em.. I'm not sure where I was last time I posted. Also didn't count stuff copied from library CDs

On Saturday, I was working at a different store than I normally do. They have this nice cd store near by that I can never keep myself away from when I'm over there. I picked up:

Herbie Hancock - The Prisoner
Grant Green - Green Street
Grant Green - Am I Blue
Grant Green - Grant's First Stand
Linkin Park - Reanimation DVD-A

I got all of the Blue Note stuff for $9 each, which made the sting to my wallet not seem so bad.

I also ordered some DVD-A's online on friday night.

Amon Tobin - Chaos Theory Soundtrack
Marvin Gaye - Let's Get it on
