My main issue with my CD Player is the amp....my CIEM's are way too sensitive

Most portable CD players have a line out jack... at least most of the ones I've owned.

They do? Maybe it's just because I haven't used a portable CD player in a while. I probably didn't even know that when I did use one.

When you laugh at non audiophiles comments on headphones. I heard earlier today that earbuds destroy crappy over ears because the earbuds sit in your ear giving them better dynamic range. Sadly all of his friends believed him and bashed over ears

It makes you feel like complete crap doesn't it? Maybe this is an addiction. I need to be focusing on the ring as well.

Yeah, being a computer geek+audiophile has its ups and downs. On the bright side, it gives you a lot more flexibility with how you use a computer for listening to music (+ being able to understand how computers/other audio gear works is awesome) But they are both really expensive. I've gotten to the point where I only keep my computer fast enough to play whatever games I want on low-anything else, in my mind, is just eye candy-and I prefer ear candy to eye candy. :p

I'm just like this except I NEED BOTH MY CANDIES.
