Just off the top of my head.

Orb= most analogue tuning. Warm smooth inviting sound signature. Least amount of treble presence with good bass presence

SA6=Close to reference harmonish tuned. Good combo of balance, presence, imaging detail and space. One of the better tuned all BA sets you can buy.

Rose QT9-MK2 has the most common with the Canon. Energetic spacious v shaped tuning done right. Not to mention smallest form factor for how many drivers it has.

Canon is like a bigger brother of the Rose QT9-Mk2. All the aspects of the Rose QT9-Mk2 but more refined. A higher end QT9-Mk2 tuning for certain.

For Bass quantity and quality
Canon>QT9MK2=Orb>SA6 All of these sets do bass well however. Non of them are neutral for bass

Super helpful! Are you rankings based on "000" switch configuration? If so, in assuming the rankings will change if you use the switches?

Anni30 coupon already all used up by the time I went to buy them :frowning2:

Maybe that's the reason I don't buy these and save some money lol

In the meantime, I have the Thieaudio Oracle to tide me over until it comes back on sale I guess..
What is wrong with your Oracle? I believe it is a great set! Or are you looking to acquire a new gear?

Well this again is from just memory so not really a head to head comparison there but from reviewing all of them
Might revisit these comparisons when I get some proper down time. I am at work at the moment.

Switches have a minor effect on the areas they are taxed with I usually like the 2 switch on and depending on my mood the 1 switch which is bass. The switches does not affect any of the other areas of the sound tuning so you can freely go from on and off with a desired effects.

Still, that's Canon for under 300$...
Not bad for an IEM that (IMHO) kills every $1000+ IEM I own...
And the fact that you get get 8 proper IEMs in 1 - that sure increases the chance to find the sound you are looking for.

Anyway, here are all the "30$ off 250$" right now on AliExpress - some of them may still work:
ANNI30
DLZ30M
ALIBUY30M
zuzu30M

GLOUDS30M
tip: you can replace "30" with "22" for a "22$ off 180$" coupon.

And here are the "6$ off 60$" coupons for FIIO BTR3K at 64$ : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000849710696.html
ANNI6
DLZ6M
ALIBUY6M
zuzu6M

GLOUDS6M
If they don't work, you can use a 4$ coupon code for that store in the first post of the Takstar Pro 82 thread.

Here are the coupons for countries that are excluded from using global coupons:

I find the switches just so cool - I guess they turn on/off some resistors? Syncertech has graphed them: 100, 020, 003, 123. Each switch adds ~5 dB, which is quite a bit.
Purple: 000. Blue: 100

Reddish brown: 020

Cyan/blue: 003

All on: 123
Screenshot 2022-03-31 at 17.05.40.png

Finally, this is Syncertech's favourite config, 120

I'm super pumped, but I'm pretty sure my order won't come for 30-40 days...ugh Cainiao shipping whhhyy

Edit: I noticed something odd - Crin's graphs don't look like Syncertech's. Yes, I know, they use different coupler models, there are lots of variables, etc etc, but they should at least agree on the trend. Crin's 123 setting plot looks weird too; you expect the 000 and 123 to be ~parallel, but his is not?? Weird...

Folks who just ordered the Canon from AliX: did the store use Cainiao standard for special goods for the courier? I really hate Cainiao and i thought it was different to AliX standard shipping (much slower) but the seller is arguing that they are the same service...
They are the same - Cainiao is owned by Alibaba, and "Aliexpress Standard Shipping" goes through them as well.
"Cainiao Standard for Special Goods" usually quotes shorter delivery times on Aliexpress than "Aliexpress Standard Shipping", so it's a bit of an upgrade :beerchug:

Ohh ok, that's a relief!

Somehow I have a feeling one of the folks that are in the Yanyin group has worked with Tansio Mirai earphones. Just a gut feeling. Their switch element is identical in form and function from Tansio Mirai switches not to mention using similar materials like Resin and BA drivers.

That certainly won't be a bad thing haha.

Btw, do you know if Yanyin uses Knowles BAs? I've read a couple reviews claiming this but Yanyin themselves don't disclose this info anywhere...
