Yup I also use Poweramp. I don't believe in all this different-music-players-sound-different nonsense but I love the UI, tweaks and customizability and I also use the EQ occasionally.

Of course they don't sound different unless they are picky about the kinds of files they play. I think Poweramp pretty much plays everything and it has a great variety options. It is extremely nice to use...

Yeah. After getting used to the UI I couldn't go back to Google Play Music. And plus because it uses file based playlists I can sync them between my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7.
I find poweramp eq kind of killing my ears, when i slide the tremble slightly higher i cant stand listening to music for more than 2 hours.. :/

Are you using the EQ sliders or the Tone controls? I don't really like the Tone controls. If you're using EQ, which band did you boost?

Eq band i slide the 16,8,4,2k. 16 top (not max just highest among those 3 other band) and the other 3 slightly higher than normal.

Hmmmm, must just be your ears then, because I adjust the bands you do but by a little more, and I rather enjoy it.

Seller told me it's genuine, but it's so cheap, I'm thinking he's lying.
Are any fakes of these?

Despite some rumors, I don't believe that fake eph-100 are currently sold (unless, someone send you wrong item, or replaced ear tips).   One explanation for the cheap price would be that the eph-100 is discontinued.
Just check if you can trust the seller (usually use the keyword "scam" with name of seller in google. Check if there are very negative reviews).

We don't know of any fakes logged in the thread besides one post suggesting their tips were fake.

But the price is rather alarming. That looks to be the correct box in 'the picture'

Unless you're absolutely hard up for cash and willing to risk it, or not going to be upset trying, those are the options you should consider.

You just never know these days, if it were Monster Turbine I'd immediately say avoid at all costs. On the other hand, I took the risk on a pair of Yamaha PRO500 for $99 sealed with a low feedback eBay member and sure enough they were genuine and cost about $350-$400 AUD in Australia, Though because of my experience means nothing.

Thanks, I'll check again.
These are the only one that have "genuine" in the name, I'll ask if he send it in the original package, if so I'll buy it.
