Unwarranted thread revivals irk me as much as they would the next gent, especially when someone comes into the thread (sometimes years) later as though it is still a live discussion.  I participated because it did after a while become a live discussion.
 
And hopefully the idea of buying low and selling high is obvious to all.  I do think the topic at hand was/is whether $75 is a worthwhile price to own one, knowing how we on Head-Fi can be very discerning about audio purchases.

I'm from Canada and I bought beats for $180 in Portland, OR, had them sitting around for a year, used them a few times, and sold them for $160. They're worth how much i lost out of the deal.
