Worried about durability, D2000 vs DT770

That article you linked seems to mention the DT880s...

Anyways. I did a little googling around. The DT770s are OK for gaming, but not ideal. Imaging and positioning are alright but if you value high skill shooters or something I would go with something else. (I take back what I said, they can definitely work for gaming, but if you value gaming a lot look somewhere else).

And as for the games, congrats! The actual quality of the headphones for gaming won't matter far too much for you then. Take your pick of what you'd like!

*facepalm* Stupid mistake. I could of swore somewhere on these fourms though, that the 770-80's were reccomended over the 880's. *tried to find thread*

Screw it xD

The 880's are $50 out of my price range, and the D2000's are the next best thing (if not better)

I'll be getting the D2000's i guess. Unless Someone else has a better gaming headphone in mind?

The DT880s go for 208 occasionally or very close on amazon when they're on sale. If you're patient enough to wait.

Also the DT880s are always recocmended above the DT770s for gaming. Doesn't mean that the DT770s are bad, but the DT880s are just better. Yep, the denons are a good choice. Just be careful of the screw.
