I'm not sure if this has been asked/posted before... but does anyone have any pictures of the rear of the WA22? All I can seem to find is the front (but don't get me wrong... the front is beautiful).

I sent Jack an e-mail today about the WA22 and I mentioned the WA6SE. He said that the WA22 outputs less power than the WA6SE, which I didn't expect. But I'm still pretty much leaning towards the WA22, mostly since it's incredibly easy to balance the Denon AH-D7000s (which should be arriving this week

). Although more power for less money is always a good thing. He also mentioned that both amps drive the D7000s very easily, which is reassuring to me.

it looks like if you use 7236 power tubes it has 2 watts... thats more than the wa6se.... but less than one watt with the stock tubes?... if thats so im very tempted to get one

i think this is going to be my next amp...i love my wa6 so I figured I might as well keep it in the same family...has anyone spoken to jack recently to know if he is still on time for a September release? will he have additional units ready to ship once his release date comes or will I need to wait additional time for the build? also to those who already placed their order, are you charged once you place your order or once its available to ship? and last but not least, to those who have listened to the wa22 already, did you listen to it fully maxed out with all the available tube upgrades or was it with the stock tubes? thanks

Still on for September shipping of the preorder units. Payment is made when the order is placed. And you probably will have to wait at least a month for a custom build.

edit: checked the new stats. I was kind of hoping for better measured performance than the WA6, alas they seem very similar. .3% THD is a little on the high side for ultra-detailed headphones
