Will I need an Amp for DT 770 ?

Setup is:

PC (AUDIGY4) - > Mixer Behringer XENYX 1002FX -> Headphones

Headphones output Mixer Spec :

Type : 1/4 TRS connector, unbalanced
Max output level : +19 dBu / 150 Ohm (+25 dBm)

Is this enough ? I never go pass 1/4 knob level with ATH-m40fs.


ATH-m50 are also interesting.

Which Ohm version of the 770? for the 80Ohm, you should not need one. But I think for the others, it would be helpful (and required for the 600Ohm).
 
You'll likely hear improved sound with an amp if you add one later, but it wouldn't be a requirement first thing.

Beyerdynamic DT-770 are best when there is a headphone amplifier.
Asus Xonar DG, is cheap, comes with a (decent) headphone amplifier and Dolby headphone 5.1

The question here is my mixer got an Headphone amp integrated in it. Is it decent ? thats more like it.
