Alaric 4722, from the mid '70s. Japanese made, but sold under a swedish marque. 
 
I don't know much else about them though. Maybe the owner here does.

They were my FIRST headphones way back in the early 90's

I hardly ever see Elega Branded stuff around. I wish there was more.

Just checked, two drivers per side, small tweeter in front of a woofer, even a small crossover.

I'll have to get around to opening these up and check the driver housing sizes and the setup for the crossover or whatever is there. It could be a custom mini 340 = leave a dynamic in and use the sfi for mid and bass is what i was thinking, or better yet what you mentioned maybe...If I ever get to opening them I'll post pics. The elastics could use replacing anyhow, but as far as I can remember Ill need to drill out some of those rivets on the band, maybe.
 
Oh that was a dual diaphragm (<= weird) Vmoda not a dual driver. My bad.

 I would love to try a pair. I love multi-driver speakers, but it's true that since the cans rest so close to your ears, there could be small delay. Those early OEMs looked amazing

I wanna know how they pull it off.

forgive my noobness but what is crosstalk? :x i've seen custom iems claiming 5 way crossover or smth similar. crossover, crossfeed, cross talk O_O so confusing x.x
