That should be on the log-in screen.

Majority of skullcandies suck. Most of the time I see the poorer sounding ones on people's heads. It's usually because people cheap out that they get the better sounding ones.

also since im new here
please also explain
why everyone is a sennheiser fan whore?

I bet you like your SkullCandies so much, because you and your friends in middle school think they are so cool!

Protip: Pay attention in English class instead of listening to Fall Out Boy.

That's unnecessary and mean. Skullcandy's have cornered a market and people only know what they've been exposed to. The OPs obviously interested in headphones and/or good sound or he wouldn't have bothered checking in on this forum. Why throw a cheap shot at someone with one post who asked a legit and somewhat brave question? Not cool.

I was kidding. :P

Edit: Even I think some of the Bose bashing is unneeded. Their headphones are terribly overpriced, but they aren't that bad.

and the skullcandy bashing is also a bit over the roof, i think they are fine headphones, especialy if they change their marketing techniques to start delivering them inside kinder eggs for $2-3..

ok, thats a bit harsh, but i think skull candy headphones are also a bit overpriced,

I think Skullcandy's are a horrible joke to play on the youth of America. Bullets on an audio device? Come on, it's pathetic. Garbage sound quality aside, no one, and I mean NO ONE should be wearing headphones with bullets on them. 3 bullets... one for yourself and two for the next two people you see in line waiting to buy a pair.

Next up: The Gangsta' Drive-By "Edition 9mm Glock". They come with fake bullet holes to stick on your forehead, and a certificate of authenticity in the form of an obituary to give your parents.

Ultrasone, eat your heart out. Or you prefer we bust a cap in 'yo ass?

Very much agreed, it is pathetic.

However, not everyone are audiophiles like we are. People have different ears, if the OP likes what he's getting out of this Skullcandy, well, that's good enough for him. As far as audio experience, obviously we are in a totally different class. The only reason this thread is made is because the OP hasn't heard the audiophile headphones. And there's a reason why headphones cost hundreds of dollars or even thousands, simply...proven and differentiable sound quality.

so far i like what im reading, yeah i have tried a few of the mid range models of the sennheiser (dont ask me to re-iterate the model numbers god knows i dont remember) though its been ages. i do rake in a fairly reasonable income for someone my age so i can definitely check out alot of the brands. though i have no idea where id pick up a pair of grado's around here it'd have to be internet. i generally shy from buying audio (im a car and home audiophile myself so i do have some experience in sound equipment just not in personal and portable equipment) equipment on the internet if i havent had any past experience.
oh and yes i do listen to fall out boy in english, right after i listen to miles davis, bb king and ray charles :P. i only know one person in my 3000+ student school that has a pair of skullcandy's and he was dumb enough to buy the skull crushers. i was impressed the first time then i heard a much better pair of my friends plantronics dj'ing headphones and pretty much disowned that friend for dropping 60 bucks on his "skull Crushers"
im a junior in high school btw
but thank you for the insight i look forward to hearing more.
