If I buy anything, it might be a pair of Koss ESP-9 electrostatics from the 70"s and refurb them.

I have quite a few really nice high midfi HP's (some would consider them TOTL but they're not) already, but I know for sure I'll own these eventually.
Meze Empyrean
ZMF Verite
TH-900 (sold them and want them back bad!!!)
Audeze LCD-2 unicorn
Hifiman HE-500 (always wanted to hear and own these)
I'm a hoarder and even if and when I aquire all of these, I won't get rid of what I have. It's a sickness and I'm currently seeing a specialist that deals in nothing but Headphoneitis psychosis. I'm just tired of the 80's disco 8 tracks he prescribes for me so I can heal.

I share your remorse over parting with my TH900. I might reacquire a set one day. The Verite is also on my list.I have quite a few really nice high midfi HP's (some would consider them TOTL but they're not) already, but I know for sure I'll own these eventually.

2nd the TH-900's. I sold mine some time ago and regretted it. I will definitely reacquire them at some point. My list has changed and my new list is as follows:I have quite a few really nice high midfi HP's (some would consider them TOTL but they're not) already, but I know for sure I'll own these eventually.

Sennheiser HD820
ZMF Verite (After getting the Auteurs I have to own these)
Mr. Speakers Ether Flow 2
Fostex TH-900 Mk2
Mr. Speakers Ether Flow C 1.1
ZMF Ori
Alarickc
Head-Fier
Next, probably the Abyss Diana Phi to complement my 1266 Phi CC and LCD-XC.
After that it's getting to be time for some new CIEMs, don't know which yet.
Then, who knows.

Lcd2c's, I already have enough planar, but I've always wanted to try the audeze sound. Are bigger drivers better? Maybe one day my wallet will give me the opportunity to find out....

I have been basically out of the headphone game for a while after picking up a pair of $100-$150-ish closed-back headphones back in 2017. I do not have any really good open-back headphones right now. So, my next headphone purchase will probably be a pair of the Grado SR-80e or a pair of the Sennheiser HD 599.

Quickly acquiring the Z1R, HE-500, LCD-2C, then HP-3 left me very satisfied with my collection, so there's no headphones on my to-buy list. At some point I'd like to own the Sendy Aivas, but I'm not lusting after them like I was.
I do keep eyeballing my home subwoofer, and thinking about how it just doesn't match my Klipsch speakers. I feel like that 15inch sub from them would match so much better...

Hd820 to go with my sp1000. Hopefully this will cure my bloodlust at least in the medium term. Really need to get off this gear buying merry go round.
