Which Headphone is next on your "To Buy" list?

I really like the two main headphones I have now. But the next headphone that I want to get that I don't really need is something that synergizes well with the DAVE headphone-out. Maybe an Empyrean or LCD-4Z.

Edit: Or maybe even give the Klipsch Heritage HP-3 at try (Sheeoot, this thread is getting the wheels spinning again. Bad! :D)

I plan on selling my ath-a2000x. They sound great, but I hate the headband system. I really love my Kennerton Thridi and Klipsch HP3. They are both severely underrated cans imo. I think I might go for a Beyerdynamic T1 to compliment them as a drastically different sound.

Recently I've become intrigued most by a couple of "older" companies
with stellar reputations which have introduced their first headphones
into the marketplace.

They are the Neumann,NDH 20, and the Quad. Era 1.

I haven't been able to get a full sense of what they're about,
but I've always liked that kind of "European" and "English"
sound. When played with the appropriate music and gear
in an appropriate room, the Quad electrostatics were the
best speakers I'd ever heard - transparency, openness,
extraordinary detail, ridiculously good "musicality" - yet
soft without any edges, no shrillness, no bombast.

Also, if Grado comes out with another limited edition
I'll probably grab it.

Most recent purchases were the Sony MDR Z7M2, and
a little while before that the AT R70X. Of course they're
different with different uses and applications, however
I like them both a great deal.
