I have been using my TF10 here and there. I really like the quality of the sound. I can hear a lot more details compare to sucky iPhone earphone lol. I also have westone cable on them. TF10 is my first earphone. I'm just looking for the upgrade. I might be selling it if you are looking for a used one in excellent condition. I recently ordered Astro A40 wireless system for gaming. I'm looking for in-ear or over-ear headphone for my computer and iPhone. Do I need anything to improve my sound quality from my PC?

I'm not an audiophile but I really appreciate quality products   I know most of you guys are very informative about sounds. Help me out guys.

I don't there is a "better" IEM between top tier ones. They're just different. I suggest looking into IEMs with different flavours: se535, GR07, IE8,  EX1000, UM3X, etc. Or better yet, explore full sized headphones / custom IEMs. If you want to improve sound quality, get a decent DAC.

The Sony EX1000, Westone 4, PFE232, RE272 are clear upgrade over TF10Pro with superb soundquality.

TS842 if you don't want to spend for a JH13/16, but if you do the JH16 and Rooth LS8 are good bets.

I don't think I'm ready to spend 1000+ on the earphone yet lol. I know JH is the best out there you can buy but I'm not sure if it's worth investing. I need to start reading reviews.

The biggest improvement I have experienced with the TF10 is from a better cable, not an amp, and not even reshelling.

Well, with diminishing returns and all that noise in effect, the only way to get a "significant" upgrade over the TF10s is probably going to be venturing into custom territory.

No universal is better than TF10.  An amp will improve it a little bit but customs would be the way to upgrade.  JH13 or ES5.

In my own experience, UM3X is better than TF10 by a good margin in terms of SQ and it is no contest in terms of comfort/fit.  I am sure others have universals that they feel are better than the TF10. It really depends on what the listener is going for.
