Either earbuds or the Shure E4c with tri-flanges which haven't been cut back.... they went deep

Can't say I've had a prolem with my Grado's. Although when I bought the SR-225's they already had the beyer headband and c-pad mod and the RS-1's are so light that I barely know they are on.

The bumps on the K701s become actually painful if I wear them for an extended time. The pain continues after I remove them, and leaves my head sensitive so that other, much better designed headbands (eg Beyer) irritate it as well.

gray-doh! my head was hurting after a long session, had to get a beyer presstud band to ease it a little, although my super heavy d5k are a bit like that, had to get a beyer presstud band to ease it a little
