What source(s) are you plugging into?

For the HD650 a OTL tube amp is the best in my experience.
Little Dot is just fine for your budget.

What's wrong with amp-section on the DAC1? Arguably better than any of the above.

Depending on the tubes,but all three are  good for the Sennheisers.

He really liked how it drove the DT880. I currently use mine with the HD600, and love it. You can order it as a kit (easy to assemble) or completed.
