Do Alessandro's count? Because they're really just Grados... And the MS-1i is leagues better than the SR-60 IMO.

SR225i or if you can score one then an HF series is all I'd recommend under $1k.

I would just buy a regular SR-60i. The SR-80i and MS-1i sound much better with bowl pads, and by the time you buy those and the headphones, you'll be looking at more like $130. The SR-60i's are a fantastic headphone for the money.

only thing that stopping me from buying ms-1is + sr225is is both my amps might not play well with them once there balanced
