This topic came to me when I realized I had accidentally downloaded a crappy remixed version of a good song onto my iPod. I was listening to my M50's, and when this song came on I thought the headphones had broke. I have some older and live recordings where you know that any problems are just from the basement recordings, but this was something else. Whoever remixed the song had intentionally recessed pretty much everything, then made the guitar part and drums really crappy. The song sounds the same on my M50s as it does on my broken iPod earbuds.
 
So, my nomination is Underwater by Bodyjar (Consumer Remix)
