Having owned both AD900 and the SR325is, I strongly suggest that you spend your money on the ATs. The 325/MS2 is just too aggressive for most folks. Amusingly, I have read posts where people say they are good cans if you have a boring source/amp - they will certainly liven things up, but I dont think adding Tabasco sauce to devilled eggs necessarily makes for a world-class omelette. You will be happier with the AD900 - just ignore a lot of the hoopla about 'brightness'. They are a lot closer to my idea of neutral than the 325is.

γ1/γ2 is my upcoming build for my DAC. Beyerdynamic DT880 (600ohms) will probably be my next cans. It should compliment AKG K701 quite well I hope.

After just buying the Rs1i's thats going to be me for cans for a while. Cables is what I'm going spend money on this year... just recently realised (again) what a difference different cables make! I've just spent £30 on a pair of handmade solid silver interconnects and they better than my £250 Atlas..!

I really want to try the DT 880 - 600 Ohm very soon. But I can't tell yet if I'll be keeping them.
 
If they don't please me, I'll try out the DT 1350 instead.
 
I also wanted the PRO 900 the day I got my HFI-780s. I guess I will make an in between stop with the PRO 750 or 2500 later this year first, though.

Any good old AKG I can get my hands on for less than a fortune. Getting the urge to try something different from the K701's. Will be keeping a lookout for K501's, K340's, Sextetts and maybe even consider K1000's.
 
Or theres always a chance AKG might release something new and exciting.

LCD-2 Will be my 4th so far this year, and hopefully the last. After finally reaching the high-end I hope I will be able to stop. Maybe a HE-6 to compliment them in the future or something, but that's about it.

AKG K701's, tempted by the Q701's if there is indeed more bass, can't seem to find a consensus on that though.
