I followed all the reviews and had to give this a shot. Rap's not my scene but this rocks. I mean, King Crimson? Who'da thunk it.

Merry Christmas to one and all. Lang may yer' lum reek!

That is part of the reason why I sometimes have a problem with Hip Hop, the sampling. In the track "Power" I did not like the use of the King Crimson sample. I was not under the impression the sample really added too the track which I found too bad. Then again sampling is part of Hip Hop and if done well actually adds to the track. Although I sometimes think some tracks should never be sampled just because they are too unique in their own way. I should give the complete album a good listen to get a good impression though. I listened to the 34 minutes plus version of "Runaway" but it lacked something...

Right now Overkill's album "Years Of Decay" is playing. Very tight and dynamic album... This is good, even without vocals.

Set up: CD690 + AU-217 I + K240 DF
