Alt-J - An Awesome Wave
This is a pretty good album. Wasn't necessarily blown away by it, actually bought this not knowing how popular it was and how much hype surrounded it. It's a cool album though for sure. I was really surprised by Pitchforks review though (http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/17233-an-awesome-wave/), only 4.8? Girlfriend has informed me this album actually tells a story. Upon reading the lyrics, it does, which is pretty cool.

MGMT - Congratulations
One of my favorite albums. Some really good tracks off here, especially the last track. I like how they decided to change their direction in sound after their mediocre, pop, first album. While perhaps disappointing fans of their first album, they basically acquired a new fan base. Their third album is similar, but less surfy and far more psychedelic, I love the direction they're headed in. While some of the tracks try too hard to be complex (Siberian Breaks), they're still very good. I listen to this album a lot for some reason, I just feel like it a lot.

Their second album This Is All Yours is also worth a listen. I like the first better being less mainstream but the second is good too, catchy stuff you can hear but still have their touch.
