Yeah, I realize electronic sounds has improved, and will only get better. All these electronic sound makers are labeled as DJs, but really, they arn't not just simply DJ in what we think of from dance clubs, they are music producers, and actually create unique sounds. These days, vocalists and DJs gets paired up to make songs, and these guys make the music in those songs. What DJs really are is changing and evolving to people that experiments with electronic sounds. Both great refs...
Saw Flume live 2x, perhaps best (of a lot) live music I have heard!
.. also saw Muru Masa
His newest album seems more experimental, but his older album sounds more interesting I think.
These modern electronic sounds good on headphones because the tightness of the bass and the speed of the sounds. Much faster than real instruments.
Sometimes you get bored of the same of crap. Instrumental stuff has been done millions and millions of times in variations, but not any new sounds are created.

Agreed, and may that persist.people that experiments with electronic sounds.

I think his album Skin and his Flume (self titled) before that too are much better than the latest, somewhat noisy "mix tape".

Absolutely agree. Well produced electronic music is not the most common, but it is some of the best (IMO) on headphones as you say.
