The Crusaders, AKA The Jazz Crusaders, their 1975 and 1977 studio albums.
The band existed from roughly 1961 to 2006 in one form or another, these albums
are from their "jazz funk" era and are very engaging. The line-up is Wayne Henderson
and Wilton Felder on horns, Joe Sample on keys, Stix Hooper on drums and Larry
Carlton on guitar. Very decent jams - recommended.

I like the old recordings too.
Much more dynamic than the newer ones.
Explored some old Queen and Manowar discs these days, really impressive.

Lucky to visit several places ... Munchin, Garmisch, Rothenburg OdT, Schwangau, and Dombuehl where my company has a factory. Oh the memories.
Love the weisswurst for frühstück.
Happy listening
