Chvrches - the bones of what you believe.  - Lauren Mayberry has such a beautiful voice.

I love synthpop. Way too much.

That Chvrches album is one of the best of last year, IMHO.
Excellent album.

wow...thought I posted this earlier today...seems to have disappeared...
"The White Arcades" - Harold Budd

Nice record, don't really know the others much ... right now playing one of the lost records of the 80s by the Abecedarians, which was a compilation of the first couple EPs and singles. Great stuff, think I heard they are finally starting to reissue some of these records, good news, this has been just about impossible to get.

I had this in my shopping cart at Amazon and then deleted it based on some description or review that I read...I guess that I should reconsider!

If you like Sea Change then you will love this album...I think Morning Phase picks up right where Sea Change left off.  I'm not the biggest fan of Beck but these two albums rank among some of my all time favorites by anyone.

A friend of mine on the "Let's talk about Metal" Headfi pages turned me on to these guys. He knows I have a taste for the weird & experimental ...this has to be about the most avant garde metal I've ever heard-but really interesting.
