4. Me and my health.

I am very much OK from the neck on up, but my body doesn’t quite agree with this Lambert/Eatonish Myasthenic crap. My professor/doctor tells me statistically I am under 1 per million.

Takes me quite a while to type (so far 2 hours on this writing for all the mistakes I make and correct.) The good news is that doing a schematic is much more like normal because it is all mouse based.

Still can barely walk, and I talk like a drunk daily until my medicine kicks in. I have no sense of balance standing, and perfect balance sitting.

Despite it all, I am still building Schiit and enjoying very much doing exactly that. Thank yo all for your continued support!

Wishing you all the best with your health. Enjoy live and enjoy doing what you do - if that results in you producing some more outstanding schiit, well good for us
But first and foremost, take good care of yourself.

I had a rather pleasant latte this morning. Fruit flies have been a bit of a problem in our "Indian Summer" so I acquired a 4,000 volt fruit fly raquette and have been testing my ethical vegetarianism with an ongoing match of fruit fly tennis, which lately I seem to be winning.

Just don't accidentally knock over your coffee.

I think pour over is more delicious lately - but only on the EK. Work setup with old SGP is less exciting—El Progresso hasn't been doing it or me at work - but I will dial out the grind a bit and see if that helps. I suppose it could also be the e-kettle - which is super basic, and seems to be accumulating some of that brown rust. Thankfully it mostly comes off.

Dialed out from 9.5 to 9.75 for this morning's pour over - and perhaps cut it off three or four seconds too late. It avoided the awful astringency of letting the last little bit go through, but it didn't quite capture a flavor entirely free of it. You really want a solid 1/4 inch of water remaining when you take the dripper off the mug.
