Trying the ground tweak won’t do anything if you have an optical cable between the switch and the endpoint.

Ahh, ok, thanks for the reply. My brain has been frazzled as of late. I realize I've blocked noise from the router and was thinking about the end point/ Ethernet cable/switch, if there might be anything there that might contribute. Thank you for the post.

Unfortunately, you can't uncompress compressed music (outside the studio) , no matter how hard you try. But it's a pretty thought.

It's such a shame that mastering for an LP fixes these problems with loudness. So we end up with 6 bits of audio resolution instead of the 16/24/32 we paid for ;-(

Maybe Dr. Ivana and Mad Mike can come up with a solution.
