Hi Mike,
I found you a decent cartridge for the SOL.
It's sold at a discount now for only $17,000.=

Buy one ZYX at retail and get a free Sol turntable. Sounds like a marketing opportunity. Jason should look into partnerng with them. :D

Beyond the abyss of stupidity.

I believe one of the parttimeaudio writers took over editorial part of innerfidelity and audiostream. He s got a total dac in his system, the value of a car i suppose. Give me real life solutions that we all, reasonably, can afford

Perfect!

I suspect my HP rig sounds better than theirs...

Their 2-channel rig, may beat mine by a slim margin. :)
The ambience lighting is decent in any case!

At some point you have to spend your money on performances, rather than recordings. Even if I had the Orpheus (1 or 2), I can't imagine giving up the excitement of live theater for the ghosts of ages past...

Absolutely! That's why we're seeing Alestorm and Gloryhammer on September 20th, and Alice Cooper on October 20th! :metal: :metal:

In the last year we or myself have been to Def Leppard/Journey, Tesla, John Fogerty/ZZ Top, deadmau5, and upcoming Offspring/311 and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I also go to Orchestra Hall and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, some small Jazz clubs myself occasionally. My Wife will only "classic rock" my taste are many times larger.

And with my new system, It's been a great year for music!
