What a long, strange trip it's been -- (Robert Hunter)

I was joking!!!! I don't think there's a legit coffee drinker on the planet that would believe Keurig is a state-of-the-art system rendering precisely made coffee bliss. I thought for sure the tie-in to Schiit, Jason and Mike, along with the national anthem and Make America Great Again would give that away! Oh, well. At least I had a chuckle typing it.

As for caficinados here: I am one, and know a little about making good coffee. I grew up in a Cuban household and there's no way I could not know about coffee and espresso!! There are quite a few far more knowledgeable and dedicated coffee artisans here than I ever imagined and I do appreciate the conversation and education...

... but I just cannot help but try interjecting a little humor when it gets too serious. :D

(I'll try to refrain in the future, but no promises...)

I had figured you were joking, but as you mention, it is hard to tell these days.

No worries.

Now I must research Technivorm.

AeroPress and a Clever Dripper are all you need unless you are making more than one cup at a time. Also have a Cafflano Kompact as my wife prefers coffee without a paper filter and I don't like using a metal filter in my AeroPress.

Will be getting a Cafflano Kompresso next time they have them on Massdrop.

First I've heard of Cafflano. Looks interesting. Thanks.

Vacuum brewers. Tried and true, a timeless classic.

Technivorm makes real Schiit coffee machines.
Don't ever go for such a thing.
I agree. We were given a Technivorm and it was a pain in the arse. We now use a BonaVita and are very happy with it.

On a side note. I stopped drinking coffee and alcohol for 6 weeks; I normally just stop drinking once a year for a month or three. I've tried drinking coffee again and it just gave me the jitters. I tried again last weekend and I ended up with a headache the entire day. I have no idea why, but staying clear for a while longer before I try again.
