Haha I do speak chinese!
I'm Chinese! But I just don't listen to Chinese songs haha :p
But I am ashamed to say even tho I can speak and listen to chinese I can't read or write :p

Listening to Music with my ES5s while doing homework now.
I would say these IEMS are great for a range of genres, Metal music isnt "Loud" or "Noisy' sounding, its full yet detailed without being loud, quite damn good :)

It's ok, literacy is highly overrated.  As you can tell from the forums it's completely unnecessary.

When I was young, we had English listening tests in public exam and we had to bring our own FM walkman and earphone. I think there weren't any IEMs out there, and although I got an "A", I am sure those less literated will have their results significantly improved with the high end IEMs available nowadays.

I'm also with you on the John Mayer front, Slow Dancing In A Burning Room is a perfect song for the ES5's. I listened to this song a few days back from the Continuum Album for the 1st time since getting the ES5's and no phone has ever conveyed the emotion the way the ES5's do, very thought provoking lyrics, goose bumps time.... Listening to the whole album again this morning, man John Mayer's voice on ''I'm Gonna Find Another You'' is just breathtaking.

Just can't quite get the right ear to seal right.  Two set of impressions done so far. I must have a really weird canal. Going to go back again. The bright side is that these sound so good when they do seal, it's worth the wait. Plus they have been very responsive.

All this talk..... mine should be here this coming week! I can't freaking wait. Every time I get an email from the board saying this thread was updated I go a couple days without checking just to try and contain my excitement. I really hope I have no seal issues when mine finally arrive!

[size=small]7 days after arriving in Shanghai (and exactly one month after my ear impressions were made in Washington, DC), my ES5 has finally cleared custom (I had to email them a copy of my passport, visa, entry date, etc)!!![/size]
