Well hopefully my new watch will be at home waiting for me after work :)
It's completely different from what I originally set out for (thanks to everyone's influence here ;) ) but I'm really excited and am sure I will love it.
Already ordered a nato strap for it too but won't be in till next week probably :(.

Your extensive Christopher Ward collection is like my G-Shock collection, Mr Rick - albeit the Ward collection is much more "fancy/classier" than most of the G-Shock range.

My classiest G-Shock is probably less classy than your least classy watch.

Here's probably my 3 classiest G's:

  This one.

Definitely more expensive than I wanted! LOL
I guess that "their" new movement as well right?

Posted the question on WUS, got some pretty good replies and narrowing stuff down:

  My favorites as of now:

1) Archimede 1950: with the mesh combo just how I was visualizing the Prometheus?!?! ALMOST SOLD!! 39mm... Would have preferred 40/42 but oh well...

2) Orient Millenium: Love it's look but it seems the only place I'm seeing it is here: http://www.skywatches.com.sg/reviews/orient-automatic-power-reserve-mens-watch-cfd0e001w.htm (40mm excellent for me) Is it discontinued?
3) Gavox Legacy Navy (346.5 with blue strap): Looking good, seems it performs Ok, decent price.

Not so sold:

1) Parnis white dial blue hands auto: There's something that's off putting (is that how you say it? Sorry, English == second language). Not sure what it is. Doesn't look bad, but...
2) Seiko SUN037 Kinetic GMT: too much stuff on the dial.
3) NOA 16.75: too expensive... I'd get the Omega with that.. :p
4) Eterna Kontiki: Looks Ok but indexes and dial has that "look at me I'm alive" look. Plus, expensive! lol
5) Colomer and Sons: The one I liked was expensive and for some reason they look kind of weird... (their cases. Guess is the lugs.) I did like their Bernini Acero XVI but... dial is kind of busy as well...
6) SEA-GULL M186S: 38mm will probably not like it.
7) Orient Star: only 38mm? Hmmm...
8) Hamilton Pioneer: Nice looking, good ETA movement it seems, but a bit much on the details. (it also has those weirdo lugs like Colomer and Sons! :p)
9) Melbourne's Parkville: only 36mm... errmm not for me.
10) BWF EVEREST II: Doesn't look too bad actually! I'd prefer auto instead of manual wind though.
11) Steinhart Marine: Love Steinhart but it seems that the Marine 38mm is the only non handwinding one...

  ;)
And now I just noticed this one... http://www.kentwang.com/misc/bauhaus-watch-v3-white.html"]Bauhaus watch v3 white - Misc

Still thinking about re-acquiring the Rodina though... but it is tough!

1) Archimedes
2) Rodina
3) Kent Wang
4) Orient FFM02002W

Those are basically what I can call "favorites" as of now!

Now the difficult thing is choosing which one I want!!

Nice! No way to go wrong with that watch.

In the early 1990s when I puchased my Seiko Diver they were a really big watch, as the style of watches became bigger they are looked at as a medium watch now. Still I think the size is perfect after all these years. Those bracelets are easy to wear too.

Received the watch today, and she's a beauty. Will post pics when I get some daylight.

Well here it is :D

I know it's very different from what I was looking for originally, and it's a super common watch but I kept seeing it as I was searching and it grew on me :)
Don't have time to set it up now but wow what a looker!
Thanks for all the advice guys!
