VSonic VSD1/VSD1S Reviews/Impression Thread

  mine is #856 and I've already posted it yesterday.......if it's 1000 only LE(000-999) then from mine it's almost predictable. what's urs?

Yeah, I think it's 999 units starting from 001. Of course, there might have been a 000 demo unit or something. LE was announced at the end of July and there was a 2-day preorder period during which people could order only 1 unit and only if they had bought vsonic iems before from that tmall seller. As far as I remmeber the Vsonic's CEO mentioned that they sold 820-830 units during the preorder.
When the LE was release at the end of September he said that people who missed the preorder could buy some of the units left straight from the Jaben store and I guess some other seller got hold of some units too. Like headphoniaks, which definitely had  more than 20 and bigbargainonline who first had 10 then got some more. 
At any rate the LE is pretty limited coz my guess is there were probably around 100 units tops left for the market outside of China. As far as the numbering goes - the LE's units has been sold randomly, so there are people who bought it during the preorder and got a 9xx number and some who got one later with a lower number - as I said mine is 157.

thx for shedding some light......btw, what was the pre-order price? currenly we have 3 onliners selling btwn $55-$69, if they stock.

It was the same as the VSD1 and VSD1S - 200 yuan (without the shipping). I don't know how much they paid for shipping but I guess it was a couple of bucks, so probably around $35. The amount of money we pay more is pretty normal for stuff that's only for the Chinese or the Japanese market. In this case actually is pretty good given that the now even the sellers in China, who have LE, sell it for 550+ yuan on taobao, which is like $90 + more for the shipping.

edit: actually a 666 would go so well with these VSD1 cuz they kinda got that hipsterish gothic look going for them. haha
